When I needed to get portfolio shots done for my updated comedy website and for advertising material for my 2011 Edinburgh Fringe stand-up show, there was only one photographer I considered. Will works with his you to achieve what YOU need, rather than what he thinks you need. He is amazingly personable and instantly sets someone who is normally a little camera shy immediately at ease, and very quickly drew out the aspects of my personality I wanted to convey in the shots. You have to admire and feel sorry for Will in pretty much equal measure. He has the task of working with, amongst many other, burlesque performers and we can be a bit highly strung at times. Especially when it comes to having our images captured, either in pose or in action. Suffice it to say, we can be a bit critical of photographers. On the other hand most burlesque performers are gorgeous. So it's not all bad. What makes Will Tudor Photography an excellent choice is that he manages to escape from each photoshoot with his sanity in tact and a camera full of superb images. You can do what you like to photos these days in post production, but if you missed the best shots you're not left with much material to work with. Will's photoshoots provide the best images because, in addition to his obviously exceptional eye and good reactions, he manages to put you completely at ease. In my experience, some of his best work comes from the moments when you don't think you are posing, but casually preparing, distracted, unconscious of the camera. To put it simply, he's a genuis that doesn't need to take 700 pictures to find 20 that will bear scrutiny. Nor does he have to spend a lifetime in post production to make them look classic. He is gifted, experienced and personable enough to have you do the work without even knowing you are doing it. I can't recommend Will Tudor Photography highly enough. His work is exemplary and I will be working with him again at the very next opportunity.

I was dreading finding a photographer for our wedding. Not only did we find many wedding photographers did not offer a style we liked or a service which suited our needs and budget but we both hate having our photos taken and find it difficult to be comfortable around photographers. That is, until we contacted Will. Not only was he willing to customise his service to work around us but he wanted to make sure that we were happy, ensuring that all of our visions and ideas for our wedding photos were incorporated, no matter how crazy they seemed. Will worked endlessly to make sure that we were comfortable around the camera and working with him, as well as helping us pick out preferred styles and tweaking photos until we considered them perfect. He made the process easy and painless, giving us one less thing to stress about. Even the night before the wedding Will was happy to discuss and calm my last minute photography panics!The result was outstanding and surpassed our own expectations.
